Music stand is one tool most music lovers can't live without---be it for home studio, outdoor events, games or even in performances, they need a reliable stand to hold their binders and other music materials. There are different kinds of music stands in the market but not all can please and suite the taste and need of people. If you are not very familiar with the things you have to consider, or if you are a first-time buyer of peak music stands, here are the top three tips that you might find useful:
- It should be lightweight but stable and can hold items securely. Take a look whether it could hold heavy binders. The least you want to happen during your performance is picking up your materials on the floor due to the stand's instability.
- It should be portable and easy to assemble. If you are always on the go, or if you go to many gigs, your stand should not be a hassle to you nor should it cause delay in your performances.
- It must be sturdy and well-designed. You don't have to sacrifice these too. Besides, you are going to take it with you and use it for a long time.
